Contemporary Songs and Hymns are always a part of the praise and worship of God in our Services. The Bible is filled with encouragement to praise and worship God.

Psalm 150:1 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his might heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for is surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.  Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. NIV

Public worship gives Christians an opportunity of openly profess their faith, devotion and love to Christ. Simple, sincere, and pure praise and worship blesses the entire congregation. Our services also may include "Expressive Worship." This involves inspirational dancing and the performing of sign language in the worship and praise of God. Solo songs, children's performances, and other means to praise and honor God in deeper and more heart-felt ways may also be presented on occasion.

How we Worship:

We lift our hands in praise and worship.

Psalms 63:4 I will honor you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
Psalm 134:2 Lift your hands in holiness, and bless the Lord.

We pray and sing in tongues.

1 Corinthians 14:15 I will pray in the spirit, and I will pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will sing in words I understand.

We believe in "laying on of hands" and "anointing with oil" as practiced by the early church for the purpose of divine healing, imparting spiritual power for Christian service, and receiving gifts of the Holy Spirit.

James 5:14 Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. And their prayer offered in faith iwll heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well.
Acts 8:17 Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 6:6 These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them.
Acts 13:2 One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Dedicate Barnabas and Saul for the special work I have for them." So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way.

We believe the Gifts of the Holy Spirit should be a part of the Church just as it was in the Book of Acts. From time to time these gifts will be in operation in the services as the Holy Spirit leads.

1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.
